Talk about yourself I have the luxury to hang out with quite a lot of clever people. I look up to and draw my inspiration from many of them. I aspire to be like them. And one smart person that crosses my mind right now is…
Who this person is How you know this person Mr. Tung Dang,
[famous] who is a prominent… acquired a reputation for… We go way back Throughout the time that I’ve known him, He has always wowed me with his resourcefulness.

Describe something lost by others but found by you You should say: Who it belonged to When it was lost How you found it How you felt about it
Talk about yourself I myself am a very forgetful/ absent-minded person … I’ve had my fair share of losing things Know the relief of retrieving something that you’ve lost There was one time when I could feel such relief.
When it was lost How you found it Time + Background story At a place (gym/ park/ cinema/ food stall) located in… This place only serves rich clients/ customers This place only caters to an upscale clientele. When I was done with my workout session Locker room Stumbled upon/ Ran into/ Came across An unattended wallet/ smartphones/ belongings
Asked around but nobody claimed it 1/ Immediately headed to the lost and found section of the gym/ the police station And reported the lost item. Signed some paperwork and went home feeling like a hero. 2/ Check out the content of wallet anyway. A load of cash The owner must be filthy rich. ID card + personal contact Phoned the man and arranged to meet in person.
How you felt about it 1/ A day later, the owner contacted 2/ Met the owner and gave back the wallet. He was thrilled/ touched/ moved to retrieve his property He offered some handsome money as a thank you gift. Of course I politely declined. But he insisted He was adamant So I accepted out of courtesy. It really made my day and I felt proud of myself.
Why do some people find what they have lost more quickly than others? It comes down to a number of things Luck -> the items that they’ve lost happen to be discovered by people with good intentions. Take precaution / precautionary methods -> ex: include contact details -> tracking technologies (technologies that help locate the lost items)
What should parents teach their children to do when they find something? It depends on the type of things that you happen to find… Personal belongings (wallets, phones, …) -> make an effort to return them to the original owner -> report to the authority Hazardous goods (for ex:, drugs/ guns …) -> RUN -> Leave everything intact and report to the authority ASAP
Why do some people find what they have lost more quickly than others? What should parents teach their children to do when they find something?
Why do some people like to collect things? To some, it’s purely a hobby … look for/ admire things of the past gives them a sense of fulfillment To others, it’s a lucrative opportunity … happen to collect antiques that have historical significance (a vase that dates back to an ancient dynasty…) -> collectors can make a handsome profit
What are the advantages and disadvantages of keeping collections? On the one hand, … Offers sentimental value … reminders of glorious times in the past On the other hand, … Takes up too much space Costly to maintain (ex: storage space, cleaning, maintenance) Keep sth in mint condition
